Belton Regional Medical Center cut the ribbon last week on its new facility, the Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute, part of the HCA Midwest Health cancer network, providing local access to innovative clinical research trials, tumor profiling and genetic counseling at the community hospital level. As a result, Belton Regional is a network-accredited cancer program.
Accredited by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer (CoC) quality program, the Sarah Cannon HCA Midwest Health cancer centers exceed the quality care standards set out by the CoC and consistently provide excellence in the delivery of comprehensive patient-centered care across our network of hospitals, officials said.
