Belton’s Goin commits to wrestle at UCM

Belton High School senior Jack Goin has signed to wrestle with the University of Central Missouri. Goin already has his name all over the Belton wrestling record books, and his final season is just getting started. He currently ranks eighth in career pins (72), ranks 7th in single-season pins (32), and he holds the 4th fastest fall in Belton history with a pin in nine seconds. In his first three years with Pirate wrestling, the team has finished fourth, sixth, and fifth at the State Tournament. “Jack has always been a team player. He has wrestled at various weight classes and is always willing to do what is best for the team. His work ethic will lead him to success both on and off the wrestling mat,” said Head Coach Jeremy Baker. Goin plans to pursue a future in criminal justice.
