Gerald “Jerry” Mark Fults, 56, of Raymore, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Friday, February 17, 2023.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023, at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. Jerry will then be laid to rest at Raymore Cemetery.
Jerry was born in Ankara, Turkey, on December 19, 1966, to Ronald Fults and Helena (Smith) Fults. He graduated from Belton High School in 1985 where he led the wrestling team in victories. Jerry then furthered his education at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg.
He was a passionate drummer, and would often entertain his family upstairs as the walls would start shaking. Jerry loved life and was the life of the party wherever he went. His family was always number one in his heart, especially his nieces and nephews. Jerry’s work ethic was very strong throughout his life. He owned his own painting and remodeling business in the Cass County area.
Preceding Jerry in death are his paternal grandparents, Robert and Carol Fults, as well as his maternal grandparents, Harold Sr. and Helen Smith.
Here to cherish Jerry’s memory are his loving parents, Ronald and Helena Fults; brothers, Jeff Fults (Joy) and Alex Fults (Ann); sisters, Melinda Misemer (Todd), Debbie Gardner (Bob), Rhonda Ferry (Steve); former sister in law, Debbie Hughes; numerous nieces and nephews, and many more friends.
