Jerold Lee Arment

Jerry Arment passed away Nov. 2, 2018, in Kansas City. Services will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Grandview, on Saturday Nov. 10. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to noon, and the service will be at noon. Burial at Rosehill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Marshalltown, Iowa, on Monday, Nov. 12, at 1 p.m.

Jerry was born in Marshalltown to Marion and Sharon (Ness) Arment. He worked at McKeever Price Chopper as a supervisor in the Health and Beauty Department. He participated every year in the Kansas City Renaissance Festival and enjoyed traveling around the city to sing karaoke and play darts with friends.

Jerry was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Twins and he also followed the Royals, Chiefs and NASCAR. He was a member of the Grandview-Hickman Mills Elks Lodge 2088, Fraternal Order of Eagles in Belton, and a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous with three years of sobriety.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Arment, and granddaughters, Claire and Lucille Campbell.

He is survived by his father, Marion Arment; daughter, Sheila Campbell (Greg); son, Brandon Arment; sisters Vicki Bolen (Rock), Diana Cardin (Lloyd); brothers Jeff Arment (Jeanice), Rod Arment (Teresa), Brad Arment (Chris); and three grandchildren, Morgan, Jimmy and Jack.
