Nancy Ann Kimble

Nancy was born in St. Louis on Feb. 3, 1939, to Edgar and Cleo Moody. At the age of five she moved with her family to Kansas City where she grew up. She graduated from Center High School in 1957.

Nancy worked at Allstate Insurance Company and Hallmark Cards as a keypunch operator and office worker. During those years she enjoyed traveling with friends as often as possible. Nancy was united in marriage to Jack Kimble on April 22, 1972. They raised their family in Adrian and she became a full-time homemaker. The family enjoyed traveling and seeing sites around the country, usually camping along the way.

Nancy professed her faith in Jesus Christ in 1972 and was baptized at the First Baptist Church of Adrian. Her faith in God sustained her through the ups and downs of life. In life, nothing meant more to Nancy than her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family more than anything. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, decorating her home and watching classic movies. Nancy was an excellent cook, and especially loved to bake sweets for her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Kimble; parents, Edgar and Cleo Moody; three brothers, Tom Moody and wife Cecelia, Bob Moody, and Donald Moody and wife Jean; sister-in-law, Lynn Moody and brother-in-law, Ron Durbin.

She is survived by her daughter, Michele Fairman (Darryl) and their children, Brooks Fairman (Emilee), McKenzie Harms (Jacob) and their son Jack, and Jace Fairman; stepson, Phillip Kimble (Brenda) and their children, Ericka Lee Mitzner (Tim) and their children, Adam Mitzner and Jett Moore, Jon Helgerud II (Shannon) and their children, Azalea and Archer Helgerud, and Krystal Kimble; brother, Mike Moody; sister-in-law Donna Durbin as well as many nieces and nephews.
