Todd Albert Hamilton

Todd Albert Hamilton, 62, passed away on August 7, 2025, in Belton, Missouri.

Born on September 9, 1962, Todd graduated from Belton High School and remained a proud member of the community throughout his life. He was a devoted family man with a deeply caring heart, always ensuring his loved ones were well cared for. His home was often filled with warmth, laughter, and the aroma of his excellent cooking - meals that brought people together and created lasting memories.

Todd had a lifelong passion for sports. Whether it was golf, football, baseball, racing, the Tour de France, bowling, or tennis if it was on TV, he was watching it. He especially loved golfing and played an important role in maintaining the Harrisonville Golf Club, where he found both joy and purpose. Bowling was another favorite pastime that allowed him to spend quality time with friends and family.


Among his most treasured traditions was the annual fishing trip with his cousins. A time marked by laughter, storytelling, and peaceful reflection on the water.


Todd is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline Hamilton; father Albert Hamilton (Connie); mother Dana Pearis; brothers Scott Hamilton (Carrie) and Darren Hamilton; sister Lacinda Richardson (Neil); four stepchildren Chris McCale (Lyndsi), Nicholas McCale (Jodi), Amanda Boles, and Zachary McCale (Jesse); thirteen step-grandchildren; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Clifford Cravens whom he cared for until his death. Grandmother Dorthy Cravens and his stepfather Gibson Pearis.

Todd’s generous spirit and love for life touched all who knew him. His legacy lives on through the joy he shared and the bonds he nurtured.


Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 17, 2025 At Crossroads United Methodist Church 515 E. Markey Parkway, Belton.
