Belton Police stress urgency of finding missing juvenile

The Belton Police Department has included a more candid photo along with the student photo of missing Belton juvenile Isabella Kenslow, 15, who has been missing since March 2.

Officers are hoping the second photo on the updated flyer will aid in someone recognizing Isabella.

"The family and the Belton Police Department are very concerned for the safety of Isabella as she has medical issues which are going untreated while she is missing," said Lt. Dan Davis in a Friday afternoon release.

"Further investigation has revealed that Isabella took an Adidas backpack, Nike slide sandals and white 'Jordan' sneakers with her when she left the house. Investigators have not been able to develop credible information as to Isabella’s location," Davis said.

Over the next few days, he said, Belton Police and members of Isabella’s family will be passing out copies of the updated flyer throughout the metropolitan area.

In previous releases, the department has asked residents in the Apple Valley housing addition, the Lakewood Terrace Apartments and the Orleans Place housing addition to check their video surveillance systems for persons walking in the area or suspicious vehicles in the area between 10 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. March 2, and to email surveillance videos to Det. Brandon Chrostowski at bchrostowski@beltonpd.org.

Isabella is 5 feet, 2 inches tall, 187 pounds, with red hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie and sweat pants. She also has a distinct red scar by her left eye. Anyone with information on Isabella’s whereabouts is asked to contact Det. Chrostowski by email at bchrostowski@Beltonpd.org.
