Crews will be completing resurfacing work along various portions of northbound and southbound Interstate 49 that will require intermittent lane and ramp closures along I-49 between Harrisonville and Belton beginning at 8 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, Nov. 2.
This work will require the following closures and motorists may need to seek alternate routes. All work is weather permitting.
Beginning at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, until approximately 6 a.m. the following morning, crews will have the following intermittent closures. Motorists should also expect various lane closures:
Crews will close the northbound I-49 off-ramp to 163rd Street.
Crews will intermittently close all four of the on- and off-ramps at I-49 and M-58 Highway.
Crews will close the northbound I-49 on-ramp from North Cass Parkway.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
