MST plans Benefit Talent Show for BCPI

The Main Street Theater in Belton has announced auditions for a Benefit Talent Show.

Auditions will be held on Monday and Tuesday at the theater between 5 and 9 p.m. To audition, call the theater at 814-406-9422 to schedule a time.


Performers of all ages and area singers and dancers, dramatic readers, and small skits are welcome to try out for the HOT Talent Night, which is set for 7 p.m. Saturday, July 27.

Belton’s HOT Talent Night is a benefit show for Belton Community Projects, Inc. BCPI is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization whose responsibility is to preserve and maintain Belton’s Historic Old City Hall at 510-512 Main Street, Belton.


All monies raised will go directly to BCPI so that continued work can be done to save the historic building.


The Old City Hall currently houses The Belton Historical Society’s Museum and the newly restored Main Street Theater.


A registration fee of $5 will be charged to all acts accepted to the show. The registration fee will go directly to prize money.


There will be two prizes for Best Of Show. One will be determined by artists from Main Street Theater and the other will be selected (voted for) by the audience.


A Silent Auction will be held during the Talent Show and refreshments are being supplied by XXX Realty.
