The long awaited Peculiar Winery opened with a grand opening ribbon cutting on June 26 at the new facility, 20709 Harper Rd., Peculiar. Cutting the ribbon is owner Chris Gough of Belton, along with his father, former Belton City Councilmember and business owner Perry Gough, right, also of Belton. Peculiar Winery is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (or later) Friday and Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
