Tommy Gene Fuller

Tommy Gene Fuller was born September 3, 1945, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, to Elmer Ernest and Florence Amanda (Broughton) Fuller. He graduated from Holdenville High School in May of 1963. After much consideration, Tommy entered the United States Air Force the following September, where he trained as an Electronics Technician in Biloxi, Miss.


In 1965, Tommy was stationed at Richards-Gebauer Air Force Base and found a second family when he began attending the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Grandview.


He met his future wife, Jackie (Jackalyn) Christensen, while attending the performance of Handel’s Messiah that same year.


They married on September 30, 1967, and had three children.


He is survived by son, Brian Keith; daughter, Brenna Jean; and daughter-in-law, Julie Ann (Brett); as well as by five grandchildren, Darrien Michael, Brittany Lynn (Shawn), Jessie Colleen, Jake Andrew (Rebekah) and Nick (James Wright); and three great-grandchildren, Iris Quinley, Titus, and Ellie Lou.


He is also survived by a brother, Johnny Fuller (Helen); sisters-in-law, Sherry Moser (Robert) and Mavis Bolie (Steve); aunts, Barbara Fuller and Marilyn Cunningham; and several nieces and nephews.


Tommy was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Robert Moser; and beloved son, Brett Lloyd.

A memorial service will be held at the Grandview Community of Christ, 1 p.m. Oct. 28.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grandview Community of Christ’s memorial fund for Tommy Fuller to be used for the youth camping fund.
