Lane closures planned for tonight

Crews will be completing resurfacing work along various portions of northbound and southbound Interstate 49 that will require intermittent lane and ramp closures along I-49 between Harrisonville and Belton beginning at 8 p.m. tonight, Thursday, Oct. 27, until approximately 6 a.m. Friday morning.

This work will require the following closures and motorists may need to seek alternate routes. All work is weather permitting.

Beginning at 8 p.m. on Thursday until approximately 6 a.m. Friday morning, crews will close:

• The northbound I-49 on and off ramps to M-58 Highway (intermittently).

• The southbound I-49 on ramp at North Cass Parkway.

• The southbound I-49 on and off ramps at Peculiar Way (intermittently).

• The southbound I-49 on and off ramps at State Routes C/J (intermittently).
